指揮者

Conductor and Assistant Conductor

Duties and Responsibilities: Prepare and conduct the Shen Yun Orchestra, which performs primarily as dance accompaniment, in rehearsals and performances, both nationally and internationally.
Requirements: Exceptional musicianship and conducting skills; excellent communication skills; demonstrate the ability to improve the quality of an orchestra to the highest musical standards. A master’s degree in conducting or equivalent professional experience is required.

Program: All candidates who are invited to audition with an orchestra should prepare:

  • •   Additional piece(s) for sight-reading will be provided 30 minutes prior to the rehearsal.
  • Total podium time for each candidate for rehearsal and performance will be 40 minutes.
